Council's have to make redundancies due to lack of money.....but there is a pay increase for the Bournemouth Councillors

Council's across the South are having to make cut back in jobs, reports a survey released by the Local Government Association today.
"More than 120 councils face potential losses totalling nearly £1bn" quotes the Guardian Newspaper, these redundancies are due to the recession. This comes after Bournemouth Council met on Tuesday and the councillors voted to keep their 35% pay increase while the council workers will be experiencing a reduction in paid.
